Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Omaha, NE

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Registered Respiratory Therapist for Childrens Nebraska in Omaha, NE. You will work 3x12 night shifts across the NICU, PICU, and CICU, with a 91-day assignment starting May 25, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,358.72.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage both non-invasive and invasive ventilator support, including natural and artificial airway management
• Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments and bronchial hygiene therapies
• Administer respiratory medications and medical gas therapy
• Perform respiratory education for asthma, tracheostomy, and pulmonary disease management
• Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed
• Work with patients ranging from neonates to young adults
• Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs
• Chart using the Epic system

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric and/or neonatal ICU experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• CRTT and RRT credentials (CRT accepted at time of signing)
• Proficiency with Servo I ventilators
• Nebraska nursing license required within 48 hours of signing
• Weekend coverage required
