<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work under supervision of Respiratory Director and Medical Director<br>• Provide quality respiratory care services to patients of all age groups, both inpatient and outpatient<br>• Perform therapy services and testing within scope of Cardiopulmonary Services department<br>• Call coverage required with this position<br>• Current Maine Respiratory Care Practitioners License required<br>• National Board for Respiratory Care Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required, or eligible to sit for RRT exam within one year of start date<br>• Must be graduate of Commission on Respiratory Care Education accredited school (CoARC)<br>• At least 2 years clinical experience preferred, new graduates will be considered<br>• Current Basic Life Support certification required<br>• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification optional<br>• Perform all therapeutic respiratory care procedures<br>• Operate adult, pediatric, and neonatal mechanical ventilation equipment<br>• Use BiPAP/CPAP equipment<br>• Perform EKGs, PFTs, and cardiac stress testing<br>• Interpret basic cardiac arrhythmias<br>• Attend in-service training and continuing education activities</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This community hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services with a dedicated Cardiopulmonary Services department.
