Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 3+ years of current Medical Surgical experience required
• Previous travel experience required (at least 6 months)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Telemetry/Progressive Care experience preferred
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5, possible 1:7 on nights
• Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric
• 19-bed unit
• Weekends and holidays required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Dress code: Any color scrubs
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Block scheduling will not be considered
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off accepted for the duration of the assignment; all RTO must be submitted at time of upload
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• New Hampshire RN License or Compact required
• Skills Checklist - Medical Surgical (current within 1 year) required
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Formulate and revise individual plans of care based on patient response to treatment
• Coordinate and supervise patient care as necessary
• Utilize assessment data to identify patient care needs including patient education and discharge planning
• Accurately document all patient care activities including wound assessments, medication administration, nursing flow sheets, and all assessment forms
• Delegate tasks to healthcare team members appropriately
