PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
• On-call responsibilities required
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Prior travel experience required - no local candidates accepted
• Must hold valid New Mexico RN license
• Required certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Provide post-anesthesia care to surgical patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and other healthcare personnel
• Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
• Temporary position providing coverage while recruiting for permanent replacement
