PACU Registered Nurse Job in Springfield, VT

You are a Registered Nurse with strong PACU experience seeking a travel position at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, VT. This role offers you the opportunity to work across perioperative, endoscopy, and recovery specialties in a small critical access facility setting.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Shift: 4x10 Days
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,750

Responsibilities:

• Provide care across Perioperative, Endoscopy, and Recovery specialties with high proficiency in each area
• Start and maintain IV lines
• Participate in on-call coverage (1 night per week and every 5th weekend)
• Cover rotating holidays as required

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license: Vermont RN license or Compact license required
• Minimum 2+ years of current outpatient PACU experience
• Perioperative experience required
• Endoscopy experience required
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications
• Skills Checklist for PACU current within 1 year
• Skills Checklist for Endoscopy current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference from past two years of employment
• Own vehicle required
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
