NICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas as a NICU RN for a seasonal travel assignment. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three shifts per week, for 91 days beginning June 30, 2026. Your weekly pay is $1,839.60.

You will provide direct care to neonatal patients with a 2:1 patient ratio in the NICU and 3:1 in the NSCU. This role requires a minimum of one year of current acute care NICU hospital experience. You must hold an active Kansas nursing license, BLS certification, and NRP certification. Level IV NICU experience and prior Meditech experience are preferred. Experience working in large teaching facilities is a plus.

Your responsibilities will include:

• IV insertion and other invasive procedures
• Whole body cooling protocols
• Support for surgical cases including NEC, PDA, and CVC placements
• PDA ligations and high-frequency ventilation management
• Chest tube care and monitoring

You will work with specialized equipment including Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, and Drager ventilators, along with ECG monitors from Philips and GE. Your EMR system will be Neonatal Notes Manager/Meditech. You will be assigned to floors 2 and 3 of the main building.
