X-Ray Technician Job in Burlingame, CA

You will work as an X-Ray Technician in the Radiology and Cardiology departments at Sutter Health Mills-Peninsula Medical Center in Burlingame, California. This is a full-time position with a 91-day contract starting June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 days)
• Rotating every 3rd weekend required; no on-call duties
• Weekly pay: $2,517.70

Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality diagnostic images
• Work independently, exercising sound clinical judgment and developed technical skills
• Execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results within appropriate timeframes
• Conduct competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication
• May perform specific procedures and assist in orienting other department staff

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential (X-Ray Technician)
• Valid California state license at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA)
• California CRT Licensure
• Fluoroscopy Licensure
• ARRT (XR) Certification
• Minimum 2 years of radiology or cardiology experience
• 7-year work history verification required
• Available for lab work within 3–5 days of signing

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic system experience

Orientation

You will complete non-billable training modules during orientation, averaging 1–5 hours in duration.
