<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide quality and efficient completion of mammographic procedures for diagnostic interpretation<br>• Operate daily operations of the women's health section of radiology<br>• Perform mammography exams based on imaging department protocols or protocol with radiologist<br>• Practice radiation safety adhering to ALARA standards<br>• Verify exam orders and identify patients through two means of identification<br>• Review and document patient medical history and obtain informed consent<br>• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR including charging for procedures and supplies<br>• Complete daily quality assurance and preventative maintenance scheduling<br>• Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate service engineer calls when needed<br>• Maintain appropriate records for all accreditation processes and inspections<br>• Order, stock, and maintain supply inventory<br>• Assist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when required<br>• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other modalities and adjusting schedules as needed<br>• Take call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed<br>• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States<br>• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist program required<br>• AART registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M) required<br>• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain within 90 days<br>• Two years prior experience as practicing Radiologic Technologist preferred<br>• Experience with electronic records including PACS and RIS/HIS preferred<br>• Cross-training in other modalities including CT, MRI, and DEXA preferred<br>• Must successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug screen</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive women's health radiology department with advanced mammography services.
