ICU Nurse Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Intensive Care Unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, caring for critically ill patients including stroke, neurosurgery, and medical overflow cases.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including ICP monitoring, post-IV/IA tPA administration, mechanical thrombectomy care, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Care for adult and geriatric patients (18 years and older)
• May float to other ICU units and acute care floors as needed
• Participate in weekend coverage every other weekend and holidays as required
• Complete one hardship shift as determined by assignment timeframe

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Neuroscience ICU experience
• Strong experience with EVD, ICP monitoring, angiogram post-care, CRRT, carotid procedures, and embolizations
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC system experience required
• Must pass manager interview and clinical screening
• No license hits accepted

Contract Details:

• 91-day assignment
• Start date: June 22, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,307.14
• 8-hour orientation included
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Flexibility to rotate between day and night shifts preferred
• Travel pairs accepted; matched schedules not guaranteed
