Cath Lab Technologist Job in Festus, MO

Join Mercy Hospital Jefferson as a Cath Lab Technologist on a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work a day shift schedule of 5x8 (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week, earning $2,774 weekly.

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist interventional cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Support pacemaker and defibrillator implants and peripheral procedures
• Operate and manage cath lab equipment including IABPs, Impella, Penumbra, and CSI systems
• Run the procedure table and position the C-arm during cases
• Perform sheath removal and maintain hemostasis
• Work in a 2-bed unit managing both cardiac and peripheral procedural patients
• Manage patient ratios of approximately 1:6

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• 1–2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Interventional cardiology experience
• BLS certification from AHA
• Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
• Ability to live within 30 minutes of the hospital

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS certification
• Critical Care experience

On-Call Requirements

This position includes an on-call rotation for weekends. You will be called 10–15 days per month, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
