CVOR RN Job in Fort Wayne, IN

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This 13-week travel assignment offers a structured schedule with 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, working four days per week. You will be guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases
• Manage 1:1 patient ratios in a 4-OR suite unit
• Support procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, ascending aortic aneurysm repair, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, femoral-popliteal bypass, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula creation, Impella placement, ventricular assist device insertion, ECMO cases, thoracotomy, and robotic thoracotomy
• Respond to call requirements every 5th weekday and every 5th weekend

Requirements:

• Active Indiana state nursing license
• BLS certification
• 1–2 years of cardiovascular nursing experience
• Residence more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
