Respiratory Therapist Job in Elmira, NY

You will work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning July 5, 2026, with a 3x12 day shift schedule.

Your Role

You will provide respiratory care services across multiple hospital units, including the Adult ICU, NICU, Emergency Room, and general medical units. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering comprehensive respiratory therapy treatments and interventions
• Operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment and ventilators
• Monitoring and assessing patient respiratory status and response to treatments
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams across various departments
• Working with diverse patient populations from neonatal to adult patients

Position Details

This position requires an Allied Health Professional credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. You will earn $2,365.20 per week. The assignment runs for 90 days with a day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week.

You will support critical care and emergency settings while providing direct patient care and equipment management. Your expertise in respiratory assessment and intervention will be essential to patient outcomes across these varied units.
