CT Technologist Job in Leonardtown, MD

MedStar Saint Marys Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join its imaging department on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week—Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 8:30 AM—with no call or float responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, cervical, and sinuses with and without contrast
• Conduct advanced imaging studies such as brain perfusion, carotid and vascular CTA, pulmonary embolism, coronary angiography, and calcium scoring
• Execute 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Complete multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest measurement (ROI)
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs
• Serve patients across all age groups—adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE requirements

What You Need

• Maryland CT license (preferred in hand at time of submittal)
• ARRT CT, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience within the last 7 years
• At least 1 completed travel assignment
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
