CT Technologist Job in New York, NY

You will work as a CT Technologist at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital MSP in New York, NY. This is a 56-week travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,540.16.

Schedule and Training

• Work 4x9 schedule from 2:30 PM to Midnight, Wednesday through Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch break
• First two weeks include a training schedule, Tuesday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Role Responsibilities

• Perform both CT scans and X-rays in a dual-modality role
• Handle up to 20 patients daily across pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations
• Conduct orthopedic exams in exam room settings or using portable equipment
• Work with inpatients and outpatients in a specialty orthopedic setting
• May rotate across multiple hospital departments or private sector locations
• Lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment exceeding 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices

Technical Skills and Experience

• Proficiency with Siemens equipment required
• X-ray procedures: extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal
• CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU settings
• Epic experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as a CT Technologist
• Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT CT, NYS License, IV Certification, BLS
• Charcoal grey scrubs required as dress code
