Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 3 or 4 x 12-hour shifts per week with day/evening rotation from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 6 calls per 6-week schedule
• 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday required per 6-week schedule
• May float to general surgery when cardiovascular cases are not scheduled
• Local candidates must be within 60 miles of the facility
• Perform cardiovascular and vascular surgical cases including cardiac, thoracic, and endovascular procedures
• Experience with aseptic technique and case cart management required
• Crash cart experience required
• Da Vinci Xi Robotics (XI Robotics) experience required
• General surgery experience required; experience in ortho, ortho/spine, ortho/joints, urology, endoscopy, thoracic, neuro, GYN, neuro/spine, bariatrics, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and transplant cases preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Serves adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CVOR and related surgical specialties required
• Must have completed a minimum of 1 prior travel assignment
• Required certification: BLS
• DC license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Scrubs provided by the facility
