ICU Registered Nurse Job in Bay City, MI

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care plans
• Provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders
• Delegate to and oversee nursing assistants, patient care associates, and other support staff
• Evaluate effectiveness of care plans and patient outcomes
• Assume leadership role in integrating evidence-based knowledge into practice
• Coordinate tasks and assignments for nursing care delivery
• Participate in patient conferences and discharge planning
• Must be comfortable floating to Emergency Department and Step Down units
• Work every other weekend with at least 2 shifts per week requested
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Neurosurgical experience preferred
• Open heart experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN
• Michigan nursing license required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Responsible for professional development and mentoring new employees and students
