<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 4x9 hour shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM<br>• Call requirements include weekday coverage 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM and weekend coverage 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM<br>• Call shift 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM every 4th weekend rotation<br>• Target patient ratios of 1:2 during days and 1:1 on weekends<br>• Daily census of 8-10 patients with approximately 5 visits per day<br>• Work with 2 rooms in the nuclear medicine department<br>• 8 hours of unit orientation required<br>• Minimum 2-3 years of experience required (3 years preferred)<br>• Previous charge experience required<br>• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted<br>• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB, PET, NH Nuclear Med Tech license<br>• Must have experience with EPIC charting system<br>• Work with patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics<br>• Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac studies, HIDA scans, liver imaging, PET scans, and whole body scans<br>• Handle radioactive materials storage, handling, and disposal<br>• Start and maintain IVs as needed<br>• Use equipment including Siemens systems<br>• Work with EPIC, Intelerad, and Cardiology PACS systems<br>• Drug screen must be obtained within 14 days of start date</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility features a comprehensive nuclear medicine department that provides advanced diagnostic imaging services to the community.
