Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday through Friday with call requirements
• Weekend and holiday call requirements with 30-minute response time
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CRCST via HSPA or CSPDT via CBSPD
• Minimum one year sterile processing department experience preferred
• Must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and adaptable
• Perform instrument decontamination, prep and pack/sterilization duties
• Process and receive vendor trays and handle sterile stores duties including picking case carts
• Work with instruments from various surgical specialties including Ortho, General, Spine, DaVinci XI, ENT, and Urology
• Float within SPD department areas: Decontamination, Prep & Pack, Sterile Stores/case carts
• Wear blue hospital-provided scrubs and full surgical attire while on duty
• Support common cases including total joints, trauma, arthroscopies, spine procedures, and robotic surgeries
• Process instruments for OR, ICU, ER, and outpatient clinics
• Complete unit-specific orientation covering all areas of responsibility until competencies are demonstrated
• Work with EPIC charting system
