Cath Lab Technologist Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Schedule and Duration

• 4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• 91-day travel assignment starting April 27, 2026
• On-call responsibilities required; weekend on-call schedule rotates every 5th weekend from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday

Your Role

• Perform diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations
• Assist with structural heart procedures
• Manage specialized equipment including X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox
• Provide 1:1 patient support during procedures
• Work within the Cerner EMR system
• No floating to other units required; position is based on the 2nd floor of K tower

Requirements

• Minimum 1 recent year of EP (electrophysiology) experience
• Current cardiac catheterization lab experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Either RCIS or ARRT certification required for tech positions
• Allied Health Professional credential

Compensation and Details

• Weekly pay: $2,774
• Dress code: surgical green scrubs
