CT Technologist Job in Klawock, AK

Alicia Roberts Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Klawock, AK. This is a full-time position working 4x10 hour days on the day shift, with a start date of July 12, 2026. Weekly compensation is $3,971.20.

Role Overview

You will perform diagnostic CT examinations of all body parts for clinical interpretation, applying principles of radiation protection and professional judgment throughout your procedures. You will maintain patient records, manage equipment care, and contribute to the department's quality assurance program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide radiographic CT examinations across all anatomical regions
• Perform daily and weekly quality control measures
• Transfer patients to and from the radiology department as needed
• Assist with invasive procedures and demonstrate competency in sterile technique
• Manage tele-radiology transmission and record maintenance
• Modify protocols to meet the needs of pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Adjust contrast levels by age group and operate automatic injectors
• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast contraindications
• Participate in supply inventory and ordering processes
• Work across multiple imaging modalities—Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Mammography—maintaining competency in ancillary modalities
• Interact professionally with patients and staff from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification in CT
• Flu vaccine required
• Willingness and ability to accept call and report to work within 20 minutes
• Ability to rotate shifts as required
• Competency in sterile technique and cross-modality imaging
• Must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility
