Job Details:

• Variable shift schedule with split shift option from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or evening shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 5x8 schedule
• No on-call or weekend hour requirements
• 5+ years of sterile processing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, CRCST or CSPDT Certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Black
• Decontaminate, inspect, function test, assemble, disinfect, and sterilize instrumentation and equipment per Manufacturer's Instructions for Use
• Perform robust manual cleaning with multiple steps and various cleaning agents, including use of ultrasonic and washer disinfectors
• Prepare instrumentation for use by inspecting, function testing, assembling, labeling, and preparing for sterilization
• Demonstrate knowledge of general and specialty surgical instruments including their names, uses, and proper assembly
• Package equipment, instruments, and supplies for sterilization using peel packs, containers, or linen wrappers with chemical indicators
• Properly operate all sterilizers following Manufacturer Instructions for Use for sterilization parameters
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and logs in both computer systems and written form
• Navigate and utilize sterile processing computer applications for decontamination, processing, and sterilization
• Inspect and ensure instruments, equipment, and supplies are in good working condition and replace damaged or broken items as needed
• Maintain repair processes and coordinate with contracted vendors on vendor items
