Medical Technologist - Lab

Job Details:

• Perform analyses in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, and microbiology according to expected performance standards
• Conduct venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick procedures on identified patients per physician's request in a timely, accurate and caring manner
• Maintain current documented records regarding maintenance and quality control
• Meet laboratory service goals as scheduled and report problems to lab director
• Promote adherence to company's Code of Business Conduct and Corporate Compliance Agreement
• Monitor employee performance and identify compliance issues
• Minimum high school diploma required plus graduation from MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by ABHES, CAHEA or other HHS-approved organization
• ASCP certification required and must be attached to submission
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required and must be attached to submission
• Blood Bank/Transfusion Services experience required
• Must use specific submission template or application will be rejected
