Telemetry RN Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as a Telemetry RN on a 36-bed neurosciences unit located on the 6th floor of Mission Hospital's Main Campus A Tower in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, running 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with an every-other-weekend rotation required.

Your Role:

• Provide direct patient care on the Tele Neuro unit with patient ratios of 7:1 on night shift
• Perform standard nursing procedures including Foley insertion and IV starts
• Float to other medical-surgical floors as needed to support unit staffing
• Work with Cerner EMR system and standard med-surg equipment

Unit Staffing:

Night shift includes one Charge RN, six RNs, two CNAs, and one HUC to support patient care and operations.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• ACLS certification
• NIH certification
• Neuroscience experience preferred

What to Expect:

You'll receive a new staff reference book at the start of your contract and work in a structured environment with clear unit protocols. Navy blue scrubs are required. The unit values self-motivated team members who can manage the pace of telemetry nursing and adapt to floating assignments when called upon.

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $2,102.40. Your assignment begins March 30, 2026.
