About this role

Tri-State is seeking an experienced RN for night shifts in their ICU at our Clarkston, WA facility. This is a quick-start position with urgent staffing needs. You will work in an ICU/PCU environment and must hold an active Washington state nursing license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the ICU with willingness to float to Medical Surgical units as needed
  • Assess and identify patient and family education needs, delivering appropriate education and support
  • Maintain patient safety through preventative measures including proper use of side rails, restraints, and safe equipment
  • Follow all restraint policies with correct evaluation and thorough documentation
  • Demonstrate competency in safe operation of PCU, Telemetry, and Medical Surgical equipment
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques and equipment repair procedures as needed
  • Implement and maintain infection control and isolation procedures with proper documentation
  • Adhere to standard precautions consistently throughout your shift
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and patient responses
  • Process physician orders accurately and promptly
  • Provide clear, complete change-of-shift reports to incoming staff
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to support continuity of care
  • Report critical lab values to physicians according to established policy
  • Maintain and restock emergency carts, room supplies, and general supplies

  • Weekly Pay: $2,496.60

You will need experience working in all ICU/PCU areas and be comfortable with the flexibility to float between units. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to patient safety are essential.
