Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Every other weekend required (every other Saturday and Sunday) - written confirmation of awareness required prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience with 18 months recent ICU experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
• NBRC (RRT) and Indiana license required
• Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
• Float required between Methodist, University, Fishers, and Morgan locations
• Charting system experience in Cerner preferred
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), drawing and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), intubation assist, tracheostomy care/management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, aerosol treatments, nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning, sputum specimen collection, and troubleshooting high pressure alarms
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Weekend coverage required
