RN - Oncology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Float between 2 departments based on facility needs
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, APHON, PALS
• Experience required in monitoring chemotherapy, administration of chemotherapy, pediatric oncology, and med/surg
• Patient ratio of 4 patients during day shifts
• Care for patient age groups including adolescents, infants, and pediatrics
• Perform procedures including simple blood transfusions, IV pain management, manual exchange phlebotomy, IV antibiotics, IV Rituximab, central line access and management, peripheral IV insertion, and EKG
• Skills required include administration of blood and blood products, chemotherapy administration, care and management of ports, central line blood draw, central line/implanted line care, infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, pediatric dosage calculations, and symptom management
• Scrub color requirement: Solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
• Charting system: EPIC
• Parking available with $20 registration fee for garage hang tag at 91 Presidents Street location
