X-Ray Technician Job in Morgantown, WV

WVU JW Ruby Memorial Hospital is hiring an X-Ray Technician to join its Radiology department. You will work 12-hour rotating shifts covering day, afternoon, and night schedules, with mandatory weekend coverage. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 8, 2026.

What You'll Do

• Perform general X-ray imaging, operative procedures with c-arm equipment, and fluoroscopy studies
• Operate Toshiba radiology rooms, Carestream portable units, and OEC c-arms
• Handle approximately 400 scans and studies per day in a department with 5 scanners and rooms
• Work with Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS systems
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and wear required radiation badge

What You Need

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• West Virginia State License
• Experience with c-arm and fluoroscopy equipment
• Valid driver's license with address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Compensation and Details

You will earn $2,496.60 per week. Weekend requirements are mandatory, and holiday coverage may be required. This position does not include call or standby duties.
