ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 3x12 hour shifts on a mid/night rotation: 11:00 AM–11:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required, if needed
• Must submit RTO requests upon submission; no more than 10 days of RTO
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
• EPIC charting experience required (hard requirement)
• Active New York single state RN license required in hand at time of submission (NY is not Compact)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Patient ratio of 1:5 serving adult and geriatric populations across all emergency diagnoses
• Required clinical skills include: IV therapy (blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs), IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage, isolation precautions, and emergency care for adult and pediatric patients including gunshot wounds, ortho trauma, CVA/stroke, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and TBI
• Special equipment includes Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment
• Required to float within skillset
• Scrub color: any combination of navy blue and white
• Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
