Physical Therapist Job in Fort Dodge, IA

You will work as a Physical Therapist at UnityPoint Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa on a temporary basis. This position offers a blend of outpatient clinic and acute care settings, working 5 days per week on day shift.

• Schedule: 4 days per week in outpatient clinic setting and 1 day per week in acute care. Guaranteed minimum 16 hours per week, with opportunities to extend to 36–40 hours or 48 hours weekly with overtime available.
• Pay: $2,880 per week. Holiday pay applies at 1.15x multiplier. Overtime is billable after 40 or 48 hours depending on your weekly commitment.
• Duration: 91 days, starting June 15, 2026.
• On-Call: Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM (optional). You may be required to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
• Clinical Scope: You will work within an interdisciplinary team, providing clinical knowledge and patient care management. When assigned to acute care weekends, you may see orthopedic, neurology, and safety discharge patients.
• Float Potential: You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• EMR: EPIC system; weekly orientation every Monday.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of previous physical therapy experience
• Outpatient experience required; inpatient experience preferred
• At least 1 travel contract completed (preferred)
• EPIC experience required
• BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Valid Iowa state license
• Taxable address more than 60 miles from facility
