PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with one weekend shift per month required
• Flexibility required to work before and after standard hours, overtime, weekends, holidays, and after hours as needed
• Float to other areas and sites as needed
• Provide care in an acute care setting
• Treat patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders
• Perform a variety of therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, patient education in home safety, adaptive equipment and compensation techniques, coordination, strengthening and therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy, therapeutic activities, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education
• Participate in professional responsibilities including documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills
• Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab unit preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Charting system: EPIC
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact required
• Dry Needling Certification required only if performing dry needling functions
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
