Cath Lab Technologist Job in Carmel, IN

IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, Indiana is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join their Radiology/Cardiology department. This is a travel position with an 84-day duration, starting June 22, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts
• Pay: $3,254.40 per week
• On-call requirements: minimum 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Floating required within IU Health North Hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience (first-time technologists not accepted)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT
• Prior travel healthcare experience required

Responsibilities

You will circulate in a 2-room department with approximately 8 visits per day. Your duties include administering conscious sedation, operating specialized equipment (Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, and Inari), and supporting a range of procedures.

Cardiac procedures include left and right heart catheterization, balloon pumps, temporary and permanent pacers/defibrillators, pericardial effusion management, and STEMI calls. You will also assist with interventional radiology procedures including venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, PE and DVT interventions, TIPS, PV work, fistula procedures, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate embolization, and management of GI, post-partum, and other internal bleeds.

You will care for patients across all age groups—adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
