Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - PICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• 13-week assignment length<br>• Weekend hours as required by facility<br>• No call requirements<br>• 2 years PICU experience required with ventilator competency<br>• Must have at least 1 year post-orientation experience<br>• Required certifications: BLS, PALS from AHA only, TNCC<br>• Current RN license meeting Missouri state requirements<br>• Float requirements: Expected to work in NICU, PICU, Pediatric medical floor, or Peds ED based on patient volumes<br>• 12-bed unit with patient ratios: ICU status 2:1, Intubated 1:1, pediatric status 3:1<br>• Work with trauma, burn, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, respiratory, sepsis, endocrinology, chronic/trach, hematology/oncology and orthopedic patients<br>• Use EPIC EMR system<br>• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and must be available entire week<br>• Dress code requires black scrubs, no unprofessional attire or jeans<br>• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1-April 1<br>• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation<br>• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments<br>• Physical requirements include standing and walking most of shift, lifting and pushing patients, lifting up to 50 lbs</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility earned an A grade in The Leapfrog Group's Fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grade and is known for its leading-edge healthcare combined with compassionate care.
