ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (occasionally 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM if needed)
• Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• No call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 180 visits per day in 58-room emergency department
• Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health patients
• Work in STEMI and Stroke certified facility with cath lab, women's health, and stroke care specialties
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first-time travelers acceptable)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Subject to float to any facility campus if needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Compliance deadline: 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
