ED RN Job in Festus, MO

Mercy Hospital Jefferson is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department on a 13-week travel assignment. You will work the night shift, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

• Shift Schedule: 3x12 nights, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. You will rotate weekends every other week.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Deliver emergency department nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions. Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient outcomes. Coordinate care with other departments and team members. Supervise and evaluate effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patient rights.
• Requirements: Current RN license valid in Missouri. Minimum 2+ years of emergency department or related acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required.
• Additional Details: You may float to other units as assigned. The facility uses the EPIC electronic medical record system. Black scrubs are required. Flu vaccination is required from November 1 through April 1.

Compensation: $2,102.40 per week. Assignment begins July 6, 2026.
