Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Lexington, VA

Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation services in Lexington, VA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, offering $2,520 weekly pay.

Position Overview

You will work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts), primarily in the outpatient clinic with some acute care responsibilities. You will manage a daily census of 9–10 patients, performing 4–5 evaluations and treatments per day. Once monthly, weekend coverage in the acute care setting is required. You may be required to work one holiday per 13-week contract.

Requirements

• DPT or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Virginia Physical Therapy license (may apply upon offer)
• BLS/ARRT(R) certification required
• Outpatient clinic and acute care experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Experience treating patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Experience in orthopedics, neurology, post-operative care, gait training, and therapeutic modalities
• Epic charting experience preferred

Facility Information

The facility's call-off policy allows one shift cancellation per two weeks. Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted for this travel position.
