Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Dothan, AL

Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This is a day shift position running Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with an on-call rotation of 7 days on and 7 days off that includes evening coverage (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 24-hour weekend shifts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of interventional radiology technologist experience
• Proficiency in all interventional radiology procedures
• Current ARRT certification (Vascular registry not required)
• Current BLS certification

You will support the interventional radiology team by assisting with vascular and non-vascular procedures, managing equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring procedural efficiency. Your responsibilities include preparing imaging equipment, maintaining sterile fields, monitoring patient safety, and documenting procedures according to hospital protocols.

As an Allied Health Professional, you are expected to maintain professional standards, communicate effectively with the clinical team, and stay current with best practices in interventional radiology.
