Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with call responsibilities
• Primary shift hours are 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with 1-2 shifts of 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM per 6-week schedule
• Weeknight call requirements: 3:15 PM to 6:45 AM
• Weekend call requirements: Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM (48 hours)
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• Work in an OR - Surgery - General (Major) unit with 5 suites and 2 procedure rooms
• Average of 20-30 cases per day
• Common cases include general, ortho, gynecology, podiatry, endoscopy, and ophthalmology
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech
• Must have graduated from a Surgical Technologist program or completed Military Training
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• NBSTSA certification preferred but not required
• Charting system: EPIC
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• No floating requirements
• Acute care setting
• BSN not required
