ED RN Job in Hilo, HI

Hilo Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a 15-week travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts (36 hours weekly)
• Duration: 15 weeks
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40
• Facility: 28-bed emergency department with 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor beds

Key Information

• No guaranteed hours
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with rapid patient turnover
• You must arrive the Thursday before your start date for a mandatory employee health appointment on Friday

Required Credentials

• Current Hawaii nursing license (must be obtained by assignment start date if not currently licensed in Hawaii)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred Certifications

• Procedural Sedation
• TMCC
• EMPC
