ED Registered Nurse Job in Meridian, ID

St Lukes Meridian Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,073.60.

Position Details

• Work 3x12 rotating shifts with various start times including 7:30 AM–8:00 PM, 10:00 PM–10:30 PM, 11:30 PM–midnight, 1:30 PM–2:00 AM, 3:30 PM–4:00 AM, and 7:30 PM–8:00 AM
• Mixed shift scheduling based on unit needs with no block schedule
• Minimum 4 Saturday/Sunday shifts required in 6 weeks (2 weekends total)
• Holiday shifts as needed
• No call or standby requirements

Clinical Responsibilities

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Work with high acuity ESI level I patients including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and abdominal pain
• Treat both pediatric and adult patients
• Read and interpret cardiac monitors
• Rare floating to other emergency departments within the health system

Requirements

• 2.5 years emergency department experience from a larger urban hospital setting
• BSN degree required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC
• Trauma experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility

Onboarding

• One shift of unit-specific orientation after hospital and Epic orientation

• Dress code requires clean and professional scrubs with no specific color requirement
