Radiation Therapist Job in Morgantown, WV

WVU JW Ruby Memorial Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join its oncology department in Morgantown, WV. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 23, 2026.

Position Overview

You will deliver radiation therapy to an average of 50 patients per day across multiple treatment modalities. Your schedule offers flexibility: work either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, all during day hours with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Administer IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT treatment techniques
• Treat approximately 25 patients per linear accelerator
• Perform 6–9 CT simulation procedures daily
• Work with both adult and pediatric patient populations, with minimal pediatric cases
• Operate Varian TrueBeam and Varian Trilogy linear accelerators
• Use Siemens Somatom Go.flo Open for imaging
• Document all patient care in EPIC charting system
• Report to Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech with Radiation Oncologists on-site for clinical support

Equipment & Systems

You will work with Varian ARIA Oncology Information System for treatment planning and record management, along with department-specific radiation delivery equipment.

Requirements

• ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist (T) certification
• BLS Certification
• WV state license
• Experience with advanced treatment techniques (IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT)

Assignment Details

Weekly pay is $3,110.40. Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for assignments under 13 weeks. Gray scrubs are required.
