Operating Room RN Job in San Ramon, CA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at San Ramon Medical Center, providing perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning February 16, 2026, with a 4x10 schedule working days from 09:00 to 19:00.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients each shift
• Coordinate and manage unit-level patient care activities
• Supervise delegated staff and ensure competency through oversight and guidance
• Deliver high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Manage resources related to patient care and surgical operations
• Collaborate with surgical teams—surgeons, anesthesia, technicians—to support optimal patient outcomes
• Support facility operations and maintain quality standards

You bring current RN licensure and experience in the operating room setting. You're comfortable working within a surgical team structure, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining the standards of perioperative practice. Your ability to communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams and adapt to the rhythm of the OR is essential.

San Ramon Medical Center is a full-service facility in the East Bay area of California. You'll work alongside experienced surgical staff in a collaborative environment.
