NICU RN Job in Springfield, MO

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call required
• 13-week assignment
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required; Level 3 or higher NICU experience preferred
• Must be vent competent
• Float requirement: nurses may be expected to work in NICU, PICU, or Postpartum floor based on patient volumes
• Patient population includes premature infants, infants of diabetic mothers, infants with respiratory distress, post-date infants, and other neonatal patients
• Patient ratio is 1:3 in NICU, determined by acuity and not guaranteed
• 46-bed unit
• EMR system: EPIC
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire orientation week
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, PALS
• Current RN license required; must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or be currently licensed in Missouri
• Scrub color: Black scrubs required; Mercy Kids scrub top with black scrub pants is acceptable
• Flexible and positive attitude preferred
