PCU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

Join OU Health as a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide direct nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and support between the intensive care unit and general medical floors.

Your Role:

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical and step-down unit patients
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, recognizing changes that require intervention
• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions in collaboration with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities and medical records
• Educate patients and families about their care procedures, treatment plans, and discharge planning
• Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapy, dietary, and other departments to optimize patient outcomes
