41101 - Travel: RN - Operating Room/Surgery - DAYS

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 5 days per week with 8-hour shifts<br>• Weekend requirement with call responsibilities<br>• On-call requirement included<br>• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred<br>• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred<br>• Required certifications: BLS and RN License in state of employment or compact state<br>• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation<br>• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families<br>• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness<br>• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided<br>• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and caregivers<br>• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers<br>• Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of clinical situations<br>• Manage contingencies of clinical nursing and focus on long-range goals or plans</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a comprehensive hospital providing advanced medical services to the community.
