MRI Technologist Job in Altoona, PA

As an MRI Technologist at UPMC Altoona, you will perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures and examinations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. This is a 90-day travel position offering 10-hour shifts with weekly pay of $3,024, starting April 27, 2026.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform MRI imaging procedures and examinations according to established protocols
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper functionality and maintenance
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, including proper positioning and monitoring
• Follow proper imaging protocols and safety guidelines, including contrast administration when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure diagnostic quality
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
