Job Details:

• 8-hour shifts only; 10 or 12-hour shifts will not be considered for this position
• Weekend schedule to be determined; holidays required if needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Administer radiation treatments, simulations, and dosimetry functions
• Fabricate blocks in preparation for treatment
• Perform radiation therapy treatments in both scheduled and emergent environments under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist
• Manage daily treatment schedule of all assignments on clinical equipment
• Observe and demonstrate familiarity with all safety features in each clinical area
• Work closely with reception, nursing, and physician components in the provision of patient care
• Update procedure manuals as needed
• Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress, work intensive environment
• Attendance at all mandatory education is required
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• 2+ years of Radiation Therapy experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Massachusetts Radiology license required and must be uploaded with profile
• Skills checklist for Radiation Therapist current to within 1 year required
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• All scheduling requests and requested time off must be submitted at time of profile upload; requests made after offer will not be approved
