Medical Lab Technician Job in Westminster, CO

St. Anthony North Hospital (SAN) is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our core laboratory team in Westminster, Colorado. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work as a generalist across all core laboratory areas, excluding Microbiology. Your primary responsibilities include operating and maintaining multiple laboratory analyzers, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate results in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• 4x10 rotating shifts
• Afternoon and evening hours: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM, and 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required
• No on-call or standby responsibilities
• Optional ability to pick up additional shifts beyond your assigned schedule

Technical Requirements

You will operate the following analyzers:

• Chemistry analyzer (EXL Dimension)
• Hematology analyzer (Sysmex XN)
• Blood Bank analyzer (ECHO)
• Urinalysis analyzer (Clinitek)
• Coagulation analyzer (Sysmex CS 2500)

You will also utilize Epic for laboratory information system (LIS) and charting functions.

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via ASCP or AMT (MLT or MLS credential accepted)
• Recent blood bank experience required
• No phlebotomy or patient contact involved in this role

Compensation & Details

Weekly pay: $1,701. Professional scrub colors of your choice are acceptable.
