Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Day shifts available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and night shifts available from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Acuity adaptable patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on patient acuity
• Every other weekend requirement
• Call based on low census only, no extra call required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/progressive care experience required
• Previous critical care experience preferred
• Work with cardiac and post-operative cardiac patients as well as medical ICU overflow
• Float to ICU or other inpatient units as needed
• Required certifications: ACLS and NIH stroke scale
• Must pass cardiac rhythm knowledge facility test with a score of 90% or higher
• Equipment used includes EKOS, balloon pump, Impella, IV pumps, transvenous pacers, cardiac monitors, CRRT, and ventilators
• EMR system: Epic
• Scrub color: Navy blue for RN
• Sweatshirts and t-shirts are prohibited; facial piercings must be removed or covered with flesh-colored jewelry
