Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with some procedures running until 4:30 PM EST
• No on-call or weekend responsibilities
• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT with precision and clinical expertise
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining safety protocols
• Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radiopharmacy operations within NYSDOH guidelines
• Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and enhance lab protocols
• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience required
• NYS Radiology Technician License required
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required
• BLS Certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program preferred
