Cath Lab Technologist Job in Port St Lucie, FL

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port St Lucie, FL. This is a 91-day travel assignment on a 4x10 day shift schedule, paying $2,556 weekly.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Set up equipment and maintain sterile fields during procedures
• Provide room circulation and assist with cardiac implant closure devices, stent placement, and IABP procedures
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities within 20 miles
• Handle on-call duties on a case-by-case basis with no set schedule

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 18 months specialty experience; 2 years preferred
• Experience in at least two of four modalities: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications
• RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist) or RCIS preferred
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine screening required
• Nicotine-free status required

Additional Details

• 36 guaranteed hours for 12-hour shifts or 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Weekend requirements negotiable with manager
• EKG and pharmacy testing required during orientation (2 attempts maximum each)
• Complete 6–15 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
• Charting via EPIC system
• Scrub color: Ceil blue
• All requests for time off must be submitted upfront at time of application
